This refreshing coconut mojito is perfect for anyone who prefers a lighter cocktail. Mild, slightly sweet coconut rum pairs beautifully with bright lime and cool mint to create an easy summer drink.
I love a well-made mojito. This variation keeps the classic mint-and-lime profile but uses coconut rum for a tropical twist. Coconut rum is typically around 20% ABV — about half the strength of many spirits — so it’s ideal if you want a flavorful cocktail that’s not overly strong.
Below is a simple recipe to make one coconut mojito at home.

Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
-
Garnish with a lime wheel and mint sprigs if desired, and enjoy responsibly.
